Nigerian comedian and content creator Shank Comics has sparked widespread debate online after sharing his thoughts on love, loyalty and infidelity in romantic relationships.

The comedian, whose real name is Adedeji Adesokan, made his views known during a recent interview where he talked about what he believes turns some men on in relationships.

According to him, a man can genuinely love his partner while still being involved with other people outside of the relationship.

His statement has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with users divided on whether true love and cheating can exist at the same time.

During the interview, Shank Comics suggested that some men can separate their emotions from their actions in relationships.

“I feel like men can multitask. They can love you and still cheat on you. I think they love you enough not to… I don’t think the cheating is trying to hurt you; do you get me? But you get hurt in the process,” he said.

He further explained that while infidelity is not always intentional or intended to cause emotional harm, it often leads to painful consequences for the partners involved.

Continuing his point, the comedian admitted that his opinion might be difficult for many to accept.

“The more I try to explain this, the more crazy I sound… But yes, the truth is that men can love you and still love cheating,” he added.

His remarks quickly went viral, attracting both support and criticism. While some agreed that emotions and behavior are not always compatible, others strongly rejected his claims.

The conversation has since contributed to ongoing debates about trust, fidelity and commitment in modern relationships, with social media users continuing to discuss the controversial topic.
