Reactions as the latest Facebook post by a Catholic priest killed by terrorists in Kaduna details what to expect in the 2023 elections.

Mixed reactions followed Reverend Father John Mark Cheitnum’s last Facebook post before his abduction and later death.
The post, which gave a prediction of what to expect during the election, went viral after the cleric was allegedly killed by his abductors in Kaduna State.

Reverend Father Cheitnum and his colleague, Reverend Father Donat Kleofa were abducted by terrorists at the rectory of Christ the King Catholic Church, Yadin Gara in Lera Local Government Area of the state on Friday, July 15, 2022.
Unfortunately, the priest’s decomposing body was discovered on a farm in a nearby village on Tuesday, July 19, while the Reverend Father Cleofas fled from kidnappers.
On July 10, 2022, the murdered priest wrote on his official Facebook page: “The 2023 election will be between Nigerians and the Enemy of Nigeria. Obedient Nigerians will WIN.”

Reacting, Nigerians have expressed different views, with many claiming that the priest may have been killed because of his statement.
