Seville open door for Adams exit

the spanish side Seville are reportedly ready to part with the Nigerian striker Akor Adams this summer despite his impressive performances during the campaign just concluded.
The Super Eagles forward has enjoyed a superb season since joining the club from Montpellier HSC in January 2025, becoming one of Sevilla’s key players in a difficult season.
Adams scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 32 La Liga appearances, playing a major role in helping the club retain their place in Spain’s top flight.
Financial problems drive Sevilla’s plans
Despite the forward’s good performances, Sevilla are said to be willing to approve his departure as they try to balance their finances ahead of the 2026/27 season.

According to reports in Spain, the club have already informed Adams of their stance as they want to raise funds and comply with Financial Fair Play rules.
The 26-year-old’s impressive form has increased his value in the transfer market, making him one of the club’s most attractive assets for potential buyers.
His performances have also attracted the attention of clubs across Europe, and interest continues to grow as the transfer window approaches.
A return to Ligue 1 is among the possible options
A return to France was mentioned as a possible destination for the Nigerian national team player.
Reports have linked Adams with Olympique Marseille, and Ligue 1 are believed to be monitoring his situation closely.
While Sevilla appear ready to sell the striker, Adams reportedly wants to stay at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán and continue his development in Spanish football.
However, the former Montpellier striker is also thought to be open to a move if the right opportunity presents itself.
The future has yet to be decided
Adams now faces an uncertain summer as discussions about his future continue.
Any potential transfer should meet Sevilla’s financial expectations, and at the same time fulfill the player’s sporting ambitions.
