Several members of a private security outfit linked to Yoruba Nation fighter Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho, were reportedly injured following an alleged attack by suspected bandits during an operation in Oyo State.
The incident reportedly took place inside the Old Oyo National Park, where members of the security team were reportedly conducting an operation.

According to sources familiar with the development, the operatives, identified as members of the Iru Ekun Security Unit, entered the sum to track suspected kidnappers and other armed groups believed to be operating in the area.
The team also said it used surveillance drones to track movements and identify locations allegedly linked to criminal activity before advancing into the forest.
The operation reportedly turned violent
However, the mission reportedly took a different direction after the operatives were allegedly attacked.
Sources claimed that heavily armed men suspected to be operating across the border opened fire on the security personnel, leading to an exchange of fire inside the forest.

During the reported clash, several members of the security team sustained injuries.
