“The best time for a woman to get married is from 22 to 27” — Benedict Onwuk

Relationship therapist, Benedicta Onwuka, has ignited a heated debate on social media platforms following a viral video in which she claimed that women over 27 are “poisonous”, “full of rage” and unsuitable for younger men starting out in life.
Commentator, whose video is widely shared and discussed on the Internet, explicitly warned men not to marry women over the age of 28, claiming that traumas from past relationships make them incapable of maintaining healthy marriages.
“Used and thrown away”
In the video, the therapist strictly defined what she considers the best age for marriage, placing it between 22 and 27 years old. Outside this window, she argued, women carry too much emotional baggage.
“Honestly, after the 27th, I can’t even vouch for such a woman anymore.” said the therapist in the video.
“Most of these advanced ladies – do your best, I call them advanced – yes, they are full of bitter experiences. They are full of negative experiences. Most of them were used and thrown away by other men.”
She further argued that these women project their past hurts onto their new partners, making it impossible for them to recognize men with sincere intentions.
According to her analysis, older women become inherently “toxic” individuals who treat new partners the way they were treated in the past.
A warning to younger men
The therapist issued a special warning to young men who might be attracted to financially independent, older women.
She warned that choosing a partner based on her financial stability or successful career is a trap that leads to a “very difficult marriage”.
“Marrying a lady of 28 and above, if you don’t even take your time, 28 is safe, somewhat safe. 30 and above will be difficult. These ladies are angry. Most of them are angry. That’s the simple truth.”
As a solution, the therapist recommended that women in their 30s only date “advanced men” in their 40s who have their own emotional baggage, suggesting they “pair together and heal together.”
The therapist concluded her viral segment with a provocative challenge to her audience: “Are you ready to deal with a toxic person?”—a question that continues to fuel intense debate in comment sections around the world.
