Zadok Yohanna reveals why he joined Brighton instead of other Premier League giants

Brighton has built a reputation in recent years for giving young players a chance and helping them progress into regular first-team football, making the club an attractive option for promising talent.

The manager’s message influenced the move

Yohanna also highlighted the role of Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler in convincing him to switch to England.

According to the Nigerian winger, the conversation with the German coach strengthened his belief that Brighton is the best environment for his development.

“He called me to keep fighting and working hard. I will give everything I have and I really want to win trophies with the team,” said Yohanna.

Mladic admitted that leaving AIK Stockholm was not an easy decision after enjoying a positive period with the Swedish club.

“I had a lot of good people around me who took care of me. Everyone loved me, so it was hard to leave,” he added.

Yohanna is expected to continue his development in Brighton’s system as the club gradually integrates him into their plans.

His arrival adds to Brighton’s growing collection of young prospects as they look to strengthen their squad for the future.
