AND lady shared the story of her neighbor, who returned to her husband after he promised ₦500,000 for a job, only to end up with a broken leg and mounting medical expenses.
The woman recounted the incident on social media, explaining that her neighbor had previously left the marriage following the attack that left her hospitalized.
According to her testimony, her parents later took the woman out of the house to recover.
Despite the divorce, the neighbor reportedly remained concerned about her husband’s activities and frequently contacted the narrator to ask if he had been seen with another woman.
Promise of financial support
The narrator claimed that her neighbor eventually discovered the plans to remarry after her husband allegedly promised to give her ₦500,000 to start the business.
According to the affidavit, the woman intended to save money before leaving the relationship permanently.
Recounting the situation, the lady wrote:
“My neighbor went back to her husband over £500,000. She is now seeking ₦700,000 to repair her broken leg.”
She further said that the husband accepted his wife back into the home when she returned.
The man continues to abuse
According to the narrator, trouble broke out again shortly after the reconciliation.
She claimed that the physical confrontations continued for several days and that during one of the fights the woman suffered a broken leg.
The narrator also claimed that the promised business capital was never secured.
The story sparked reactions online, with many social media users discussing domestic violence, financial dependency in relationships and the risks associated with returning to abusive environments.
