A lady cries after spending ₦1.1 million to buy a defective iPhone 15 Pro Max

Nigerian woman she went viral after crying over a phone she said she bought for over N1.1 million, claiming the device was faulty and had disrupted her business.
In a video circulating online, she explained that she made the purchase with years of savings as she worked to improve her life through content creation and business activities.
She said, “Not like I just wake up and take N1.1 million naira to buy a phone. I’ve been saving up for it. I saved that money.”
She added that her goal is was to upgrade her work tools to support her content production, noting that she leads the creation of business and personal content. According to her, “I just wanted a better life. I just wanted out of poverty.”
The woman went on to explain that she creates videos for resellers and relies heavily on her phone in her day-to-day work. She also said, “I do 2, 4, 7,” emphasizing the effort she puts into her work.
However, she stated that the phone developed bugs shortly after purchase, particularly with the quality of the camera, which she described as affecting her content output.
She said, “The camera was bad and the iPhone glowed white. Even when I want to make a video in my store, it always lights up white.”
According to her, attempts to resolve the issue with the seller were unsuccessful, as she claimed that the seller responded with insults, which escalated the matter.
She also said that she reported the case to the police, where both sides were heard during the mediation.
Reiterating her frustration, she claimed that the purchase was made with hard-earned money, insisting that the situation left her unable to continue working.
“I’m not sure I’ll let that slide. I can’t because my life is on hiatus.” she said, adding that the phone problem affected both her work and content creation.
