“Northerners are not ready to vote for Tinubu” — Primate Ayodele

Nigerian priest and founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has released a new prophecy ahead of the 2027 general elections, claiming that many voters in the North are currently not inclined to support president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the second term.

Speaking during a recent sermon, Ayodele said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would have to undertake extensive reconciliation efforts to regain support in the North.

According to him, many Northern political forces are beginning to rally behind former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The cleric however warned that Atiku’s path to victory remains uncertain despite what he described as favorable circumstances.

Atiku faces obstacles, says Ayodele

Ayodele suggested that while the opportunity to secure electoral success is within Atiku’s grasp, several challenges could derail his ambition if he does not take decisive political steps.

The matter is before Atiku, but a lot of circumstances will stop Atiku if Atiku does not wake up.” he said.

He also described President Tinubu as extremely determined politically, arguing that the President’s level of commitment surpasses that of many of his rivals.

Concern over Tinubu’s health

Electoral politics aside, the cleric expressed concern for Tinubu’s health, urging those close to the president to pay more attention to his well-being.

But Tinubu must seriously work on his health for God to help him. Health wise, Tinubu is not well. The family has to take care of him,” Ayodele stated.
