Tay Keith (September 20, 1996 – June 18, 2026) was an American music producer best known for co-producing Travis Scott’s 2018 single “Sicko Mode”, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as Drake’s “Nonstop”, BlocBoy JB’s “Look Alive” and Eminem’s “Not”. Alike”, which reached the second, fifth and twenty-fourth places on the chart.
His 2023 single “Pound Town 2” (with Sexyy Red, featuring Nicki Minaj) was his first chart appearance as a lead artist. He received a nomination for Best Rap Song for his work on “Sicko Mode” at the 61st Grammy Awards. He secured a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and was a member of BMI.

Brytavious Lakeith Chambers was born and raised in South Memphis, Memphis, Tennessee. Around the age of fourteen, he started making music and uploading it to YouTube and DatPiff.
He also owned a piano, which he used to compose songs and remake popular ones. One of the songs he covered was “Lollipop” by Lil Wayne.
Chambers met fellow American rapper BlocBoy JB when he was fourteen, after moving to East Memphis. Soon after, the two began composing music together. Chambers graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2018.
Career
In 2015, Chambers collaborated with rapper Blac Youngst on his mixtape, Fuck Everybody, producing the song “Lil Bitch”.
Chambers achieved mainstream success in 2018 producing BlocBoy JB’s “Rover” (later remixed into “Rover 2.0” featuring 21 Savage), “Shoot” and “Look Alive” featuring Drake, Drake’s “Nonstop,” Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode,” Eminem’s “Not Alike” featuring Royce da 5’9 and Lil Baby and Gunna’s “Never Recover” featuring Drake.
Chambers contributed the bonus track “Before I Let Go” to Beyoncé’s 2019 album Homecoming: The Live Album. He produced Aitch’s single “Rain” featuring AJ Tracey in 2020. Chambers is credited with the unusual producer tag “Tay Keith, fuck these niggas!” He also used the label “Tay Keith is too hard”.
2024 will executive produce “In Sexyy We Trust” by Sexy Red after producing a number of her singles such as “SkeeYee”, “Pound Town 2” and “Get It Sexyy”.

Tay Keith Cause of Death
On June 18, 2026 Chambers was found dead in his Nashville apartment during a welfare check by local police, who said there was no suspicion of foul play.
The cause of death has yet to be determined, and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said his death has not been classified pending the results of an autopsy. He died at the age of 29.
