AND lady sparked mixed reactions online after she shared a video in which she enthusiastically listed the meals she claimed were served during the actor’s funeral Alexx Ekubo.
In a viral video, the woman addressed critics who accused participants of focusing more on food than grieving, insisting they eat at funeral gathering is normal when refreshments are provided.
According to her, guests were served a variety of dishes, including small chops, goat meat pepper soup, catfish pepper soup and the popular homemade combination of roasted corn and pear.
She particularly praised the size and quality of the pears served at the event, joking that those who criticize those present for eating should simply refuse food whenever they attend funerals themselves.
The woman went on to explain that guests also danced during the gathering, describing it as a celebration of a life she believed was well lived and fulfilled.
She said…
“So this was all I ate at Alexx Ekubo’s funeral. Now for those of you who say ‘you people went there to eat, why did people eat’. If it’s your turn if they give you food if you get to the funeral, use the am rub body. Cry use the cry rub body. Anyway, we had small chops, we had pepper goat meat, I think they had pepper catfish soup, but I had goat meat Pepper soup… And then last but not least was corn and pear.
After that we danced, yes oh, we danced because we are celebrating a man who lived a good life and a fulfilling life at the age of 40…”
