“I should have…” – A heartbroken man tells how his friend died after an emergency hospitalization

Identified as @srebrnipennydr at X, a man found his friend reached out complaining of chest pains and sweating profusely.

Meanwhile, his friend was rushed to a nearby hospital as the devastating incident unfolded.
Upon arrival, the hospital did not have an electrocardiogram device, which is why he was urgently transferred to another facility.
However, an electrocardiogram was performed on his friend at the health facility.
A man loses a friend
In the meantime, he requested that his friend be given aspirin while arranging a transfer to the teaching hospital. Unfortunately, the medicine was not available.
In the meantime, he was rushed to the state teaching hospital, where he was given medicine.
However, the hospital did not have a catalysis lab that could save his friend.
Tragically, his friend died while preparations were being made to transfer him to Lagos for further treatment, three hours into the journey.
Before the tragic incident, he was supposed to meet his friend in the Netherlands next month.
Seeking clarification on the Nigerian health system, he stated, “Nigeria really soiled me today. How can a whole country not have a functional cathology laboratory? How?. I am so broken right now”.
