A Nigerian priest, Pastor Flourish Peters of LOGIC Church, has come under public criticism after a video surfaced showing him dedicating a newly opened BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) clinic in Lagos.
Reports indicate that the pastor invited the owner, who is said to be a member of his community, to pray over the facility. A clip of the dedication quickly circulated on the Internet, causing widespread reactions and debate.
While some social media users defended the pastor, describing it as a routine act of blessing a member’s business, others argued that his involvement in a cosmetic surgery clinic was inappropriate for a church leader.
On X (formerly Twitter), user JP. Morgan expressed his displeasure, saying:
“Doing what God makes better? Thank God, say I’m not God. God is merciful.”
Another user, Saint Michael, also questioned the language used during the dedication, writing:
