Guests were thrown into a panic after the POP ceiling suddenly collapsed during wedding admission to Warri.
A video circulating online captured the moment the ceiling gave way and debris crashed into the reception venue, sending attendees scrambling for safety.
The incident brought the celebration to an abrupt halt as guests fled the affected area to avoid being hit by falling materials.
At the time of reporting, there was no official confirmation of the cause of the collapse or whether anyone was injured. Authorities have not yet released a statement on the incident.
The video has since sparked reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern about safety standards in buildings and calling for stricter enforcement of regulations on the construction and maintenance of event spaces.
