The nursing mother sparked a debate on social media after declaring that she husband refused to give money for food after a disagreement over a £2,000 gift given to their baby by a visitor.
The woman claimed this in the video which has since gone viral on social media platforms, where she recounted how a seemingly minor argument over a monetary gift escalated into a family conflict that lasted for days.
According to her, the visitor gave the baby £2,000 during the visit. She explained that, after informing her about the gift, her husband asked for the money to be handed over to him, which she refused.
Disagreement about the baby’s gift
Speaking in the video, the nursing mother expressed her frustration with the situation, claiming that the disagreement had affected the family’s well-being.
“Someone came to visit us and gave my baby 2,000. Then my husband came back and I told him to ask for money. I should give him money.
“Will he take the money or will I? Because this thing has been causing trouble for two days. He refused to give us money for food because of this thing.”
Her statements quickly caused widespread reactions, with many users of social networks sharing different opinions about it.
Mixed reactions online
Commenting on the incident, Shield questionable whether the whole story has been told.
