Bam Bam talks about the incident with the missing phone on the song service

Reality TV star and actress Bam Bam Olawunmi-Adenibuyan addressed the phone theft incident that occurred during Alexx Ekubo’s song service held in Lagos.

Reacting to a viral video showing a woman allegedly taking her phone out of her bag, BamBam clarified that the individual was on tape was her personal assistant, not the person responsible for her device’s disappearance.

According to the actress, she only realized her phone was gone after getting into her car after the event. She explained that several people approached her to say hello and take photos while hanging out, so it is difficult to determine exactly when the device went missing.

BamBam said she was immediately concerned about personal data stored on the phone, including contacts, photos and videos that were not backed up. But aside from the loss of the device, she expressed sadness that anyone would choose a solemn event dedicated to mourning and remembrance as an opportunity for theft.

She further revealed that her phone was not the only one reported missing, noting that other attendees, including friends and relatives of the late actor, also reportedly lost their phones during the event.

His words…

“I got in the car and noticed that my phone wasn’t with me. There was a video going around of a woman taking the phone out of my bag. It was my personal assistant. Probably while we were hugging and exchanging kind words or at any point because some people came up and wanted to take a selfie, it was really weird that people wanted to take selfies during the event.

The first thing that hit me was compassion. I was really sad that my contacts, my videos… a lot of my photos and videos weren’t backed up to the cloud.

The next thing I felt was compassion. What would make any human being consider a song service a place to rob? And it wasn’t just my phone that was stolen. My friends, and I mean even one of Alex’s brother’s phones, and then another guy. It was sad…”
