“Sowore don’t pass out oooo” — Protesters shout as Sowore passes out after police tear gas protesters in Abuja

A wave of concern swept through a protest in Abuja on Thursday after human rights activist and African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Soworereportedly crashed during a protest in the Federal Capital Territory.
The protest, which focused on insecurity and other pressing national issues, he was briefly confused as protesters rushed to help Sowore after he passed out in the crowd.
Eyewitnesses at the scene were heard shouting in panic as protesters gathered around the activists.
In a video that has been circulating on social networks, voices can be heard shouting: “Sowore don’t faint oooo, they din kpai him oooo,” while others tried to clear the area and render aid.
The protest ended as Sowore was evacuated
According to reports from the scene, Sowore was quickly moved away from the protest by vehicle after the incident. The circumstances that led to his collapse were not immediately clear.
The demonstration attracted participants who demanded government action on insecurity and other socio-economic challenges affecting Nigerians.
However, the focus shifted for a moment after an unexpected incident involving an activist.
