“I just wanted my mom to come home” – Lady breaks down after investigations allegedly link her mother to her own kidnapping case
AND lady who previously sought funds from Nigerians after her mother’s kidnappers allegedly demanded ₦50 million ransom, reacted after new developments emerged in the case.
In a viral video shared by X (formerly Twitter), her reaction comes after her mother was released and preliminary investigations reportedly suggest that the kidnapping may have been stagedwith the alleged involvement of her mother and other persons whose identities have not yet been revealed.
Speaking about the development, she said:
“My mom has been released and the investigation is ongoing. My mom was investigated for involvement in this kidnapping case. I only did what any child would do to save their mom or ensure her safe return.”
The emotional lady said the revelation has left her family devastated, adding that she never had any knowledge of what investigators are now alleging.
She further expressed concern about the impact the situation could have on her father, who she said is struggling with health challenges.
“Words can’t describe how shocked the family is. I’m shocked. My whole family is broken. My dad has some health problems and I don’t even know how he’s going to get through this. I have nothing to do with this. I never knew. I just wanted my mom to come home.” she added.
The lady also apologized to Nigerians who supported her during the fundraising campaign, insisting that she acted out of concern for her mother’s safety.
The development sparked reactions online, with many expressing their condolences to the daughter while awaiting the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
