“I’m not submissive, your money is our money” – Lady provokes discussion with bold expectations of marriage
Nigerian lady sparked reactions online after revealing five reasons she believes some men may not want to date or marry her.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she opened up about her views on submission, finances and household responsibilities, insisting that she prefers to be honest about her expectations in a relationship.
According to her, the first reason is that she does not believe in submissioladyn and prefers mutual respect between partners.
“I’m not submissive. I don’t believe in submission. Two people are together, two people should submit to each other. Some days you submit to me, some days I submit to you. It’s a matter of mutual respect,” she said.
She also revealed that she believes that a male money should be shared by both partnerswhile her own money remains hers.
The lady admitted that she was not used to taking care of men financially because she grew up watching men taking care of women.
She further stated that her father set very high standards for what kind of man could be impressed, adding that she was overly pampered and expected similar treatment from any future partner.
“Your money is our money, my money is my money. My dad has already set very high standards. I am overly spoiled and very lazy when it comes to housework. Cooking is therapy for me, not a necessity,” she added.
Her comments have since drawn mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with her views while others claiming that her expectations could make it difficult to find a compatible partner.
