Saida Boj complains about the situation in Nigeria, she says that even visiting her village now feels unsafe

Social media personality Saida Boy expressed his frustration with the country economic and security challenges, saying she went from being optimistic about Nigeria’s future to considering leaving the country.

In a video shared online, Saida Boj recalled how she once laughed at the idea of moving abroad and remained hopeful that conditions in Nigeria would improve.

However, she said recent realities have changed her view, stating uncertainty, the increasing cost of living and poor infrastructure as the main problems.

The influencer specifically complained about the difficulty of traveling by road to her hometown, stating that fears of kidnapping and insecurity have made what was once a simple rural trip risky.

She also lamented the rising cost of transportation and basic necessities, arguing that many ordinary Nigerians are being deprived of experiences that were once considered normal.

According to her, the combination of insecurity, economic difficulties, poor electricity supply and inadequate infrastructure has left many citizens feeling discouraged about the country’s future.

She said…

“Before, if you told me you wanted to go to Nigeria, I’d laugh at you. Yes, that’s what I used to be, a girl who was quite optimistic about the country, said that one day I would be better.

But yesterday I found myself thinking about japaing. This is to show you how much Nigeria has failed me.

I just want to visit my village because of the smell of the village, the travel, the smell of the river. But right now they are not born, you say well that you want to travel by road to go to your village.

In fact, right now, Nigeria is too expensive for p0or people. You are not even able to travel. If there is no flying, touch where you are. Be like p0or people will not be human beings. Living expenses one takes for living.

Light, water, road bad. Everything is bad in this country. What is happening in this country? Are we trying to shut Nigeria down? Let us know. Come, be like them, don’t sell this country. There is no more hope for this country. They just want to make us suffer, when we suffer, we go running, the country goes empty.

Me wan go Kogi, then no born me good to go by the road. Make them keep me calling one type of money we don’t get?

The bare minimum of travel to one’s own village is now a luxury.

I used to be the one who would say oh pray for Nigeria. But let’s face reality, it doesn’t seem that way anymore. Looks like we all have to run”
