A viral video circulating on social media has sparked widespread reactions after members of the community were seen confronting a man accused of impregnating his biological sister.
In the video, the young man and his visibly pregnant sister were sitting on the ground as villagers gathered around them, expressing anger and disbelief at the alleged incident.
Residents described this development as a serious violation of cultural and moral values within the community.
While the conflict was going on, the man repeatedly begged those present not to film him. He also avoided showing his face on the video while pleading for privacy.
However, one of the women in the crowd rejected his appeal and openly criticized him for his alleged actions.
“Shut your mouth. So why don’t you make a video when you’re not causing a problem to this community. You mean to give your only sister belle. You have no shame,” she said.
The woman then turned her attention to the pregnant woman, questioning how she got involved in the situation.
“And you, a grown girl like you, why do you let your own brother give you a beauty, where una parent dey?” she asked.
To this, the pregnant woman, it seems, was not disturbed by the criticism at all and explained that their parents do not live with them.
According to her, she and her brother live together while their parents are elsewhere.
