A Nigerian woman claims she lost ₦18 million in a failed Canadian visa application

Nigerian lady made a public plea for help after alleging that she lost her ₦18 million life savings from a travel agency while applying for Canadian Visa.
According to her, she paid the agent ₦18 million to process her visa. The video she shared claimed agent she allegedly submitted forged bank documents as part of her application.
She said the visa application was subsequently rejected by Canadian authorities, who also imposed a five-year ban on her application for false documentation.
The woman further stated that despite the outcome, the travel agency refused to return the 18 million pounds she had paid.
Describing the ordeal as devastating, she said she had invested her entire life savings and felt her life had been turned upside down.
Her claims have drawn sympathy online, with many Nigerians urging would-be travelers to check the credibility of visa consultants and scrutinize all documents submitted on their behalf before any application is made.
The allegations have not been independently verified, and the travel agency has not publicly responded to the allegations. If the allegations are true, the matter could involve both civil and criminal legal issues.
She said in part…
“Nigerians please come and help me, I used my entire life savings of N18 million to pay a travel agency N18 million to get me a visa to Canada, only to find out I was scammed and now Canada has denied me a visa and banned me for 5 years, the travel agency refused to refund my N18 million, my life is over…”
