“He took ₦2k…” — The man is shocked to discover the price of the padlock he sent the worker to buy

According to the man, he gave the worker £10,000 to buy the padlock. A few minutes later, the worker returned with the item and gave him ₦1000 as the remaining amount.

Believing the transaction to be correct, the man said he accepted both the padlock and the ₦1,000 change without questioning the cost.

However, he later decided to inquire about the price the same padlock while purchasing another item.

Recounting the experience, the man said: “I sent a worker to bring me the padlocks, I gave him 10,000 naira.” He explained that the worker returned shortly afterwards with a padlock and £1,000 in change.

He further stated, “I went to buy something today and I decided to give a price for the same lock. Guess how much? I was told 7000 Naira! So this man pocketed 2000 Naira and gave me back 1000 Naira. I don’t understand why he didn’t take all 3k.”
