Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator Carter Efe has caused backlash online after revealing where he lives and how much he pays in rent.
Speaking during a chat with Gilmore, Carter Efe revealed that despite his fame, he does not live in Lekki as many assume. According to him, he lives in Epe, and he chose the place because it fits his budget.
“I don’t stay in Lekki, I stay in Epe. Where I live, I pay N1 million for a 4-room flat for 3 years. That’s what I can afford,” he said.
His statement quickly sparked a debate on social media, with many Nigerians sharing their opinions on his lifestyle and the amount of rent he mentioned.
