“I charged him on our first date” — Lady told how she married her husband after three months of dating

AND lady has sparked debate online after sharing the story of how she met and married her husband within three months of dating.
In a post that garnered attention on social media, the woman shared how she took a different approach to her relationship after deciding she would no longer try to earn love or prove her worth to a partner.
According to her, her husband paid for her transport on their first date and also covered the food bill of over N100,000.
She added that he provided takeout after the date and later fulfilled her request for a wig just a week into their relationship.
A different approach to dating
The woman explained that before meeting her husband, she decided to stop being what she described as “understanding girl.”
She said that she is no longer willing to overextend herself in relationships and believes that anyone who genuinely wants to be with her will make that intention clear through their actions.
Looking back on the early days of their relationship, she revealed that she did not take on household duties such as cooking, cleaning or laundry for him during the first two months they were dating.
“I billed him on our first date. Uber paid me. I ate over 100k worth of food and he still brought me takeout.”
Marriage after three months
The woman further revealed that within two months, both families had met and completed the formal introduction.
She said she just started working “small things naturally” after that phase of the relationship, adding that they got married in the third month and have now been married for six years with children.
Her story has drawn mixed reactions online, with many users discussing relationship expectations, gender roles and whether effort alone determines the success of a relationship.
