AND man he recounted the experience of his boss whose traditional marriage unexpectedly ended just days after the ceremony despite significant resources being invested in the event.
According to the man, the incident happened about two years ago and shocked many people around the couple.
He explained that the preparations for the traditional wedding were extensive, and the groom made arrangements both in his family home and in the family home of his bride.
An expensive traditional wedding
Giving details of the event, the man said his boss spent close to N10 million to host the ceremony.
According to him, two cows were slaughtered as part of the celebration, one of which was in the groom’s house, and the other in the bride’s family home.
“My boss had his traditional marriage and spent almost 9.8 million Naira because he killed two cows for the event. One in his family home, and the other at his in-laws.”
An unexpected twist after the celebration
The man further revealed that the marriage came about difficulties almost immediately after the ceremony.
He said that just days after the traditional wedding, the bride informed her husband that she was no longer interested in continuing the marriage.
“3 days after the event, the girl said she was no longer interested in marriage and left.”
