AND young man has sparked reactions online after he attributed the current economic situation in Nigeria to the prayers of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
A post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @maxvayshia suggests that the country would have seen a ‘far worse economy’ if not for spiritual interventions.
A satirical commentary on the economic situation
A viral post by @maxvayshia appears to have made a satirical remark about the Nigerian economy difficulties and the rising cost of living, arguing that things could have been far worse without prayer.
He claimed that despite the current economic challenges, Nigeria would be in a worse situation if it were not for the prayers and spiritual influence of Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Comparison of commodity prices
He also compared the prices of basic commodities, suggesting that costs would have been significantly higher without what he described as divine intervention.
In his words:
“We don’t appreciate Daddy GO Adeboye enough. Kerosene is N2400. Petrol is 2400. If it wasn’t for his prayers and talking to God over coffee, we would be buying them at N8500 by now.
Thank you, daddy.”
